Supervison 

During supervision sessions, the supervisor and trainee discuss cases, review treatment plans, explore therapeutic techniques, and reflect on the trainee's clinical work. The supervisor offers feedback, guidance, and support to help the trainee enhance their counseling or therapy skills, address any challenges they may encounter, and continue their professional growth.

 

Supervision in mental health training is essential for ensuring that trainees adhere to ethical guidelines, maintain professional boundaries, and provide effective and competent care to clients. It also serves as a space for trainees to process their experiences, receive emotional support, and continue learning and refining their clinical skills under the guidance of a more experienced mentor.
